The easiest way to go to Champs sur Marne is either to take to fly to Paris, France or to take a train to Paris if you are in contries like Belgium, Neitherland or Germany.
To take the train you need a ticket that you can buy at any train station, just be aware that if you try to buy a ticket in a train station which is not in Paris, at an airport or a Gare (TGV/Talys train station), the seller may not speak in English. There are two kinds of train tickets, single tickets that are valid for a ride or tickets named 'Paris Visite' that are valid for 1 to 5 days and works on public transportation in the 50 kms around Paris. Even if the 'Paris Visite' are maybe more expensible (for less than 2 days) but it worth the peace of mind.
